The Holdingford High School girls swimming and diving team capped its season at the section 6A meet Nov. 9 at Tech High School in St. Cloud.

Maggie Gross and the 400 yard freestyle relay team picked up the best finishes for the Huskers in the finals.  Gross finished fourth in the 200 and 100 yard freestyle races, as did the 400 freestyle relay team.

The preliminaries took place the day before, with the top eight finishers competing in the finals and the next eight in the consolations Nov. 9.

As a team, the Huskers finished seventh out of eight teams with a score of 152.  Melrose won the competition with a mark of 474.
